Jobing Description
The part time Customer Service Coordinator assists the In Patient Unit (IPU) Manager with:
-Clerical support. -Answers incoming calls, assisting callers, provides appropriate routing of calls. -Greeting visitors, providing facility tour, assisting visitors with location of facilities and refreshments. -Prepares monthly staff shift schedules. -Finds and coordinates shift coverage for absences by contacting other employees who request extra hours, per diem staff or contract agencies. -Documents communications/messages. -Interacts appropriately and professionally with patients, families, staff and volunteers. -Maintains the confidentiality of patient and agency information at all times. -Assists IPU Manager with various clerical or administrative tasks as directed. *Previous health care experience in hospice or home health care preferred* Skills / Requirements
-Demonstrated ability to handle stressful and delicate situations with tact and diplomacy. -Demonstrated ability to organize efficiently and establish priorities of work.
-Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills. -Must have proficient computer skills. -Understanding of hospice care. Important Notes
Position is part time, weekends only, both Saturday and Sunday from 11 am - 7 pm. Must have experience in customer service, health care experience is preferred.
