Phoenix Children's Hospital is the only specialty children's hospital in Arizona and it is poised to become one of the foremost pediatric hospitals in the nation. The hospital is home to the state's largest group of pediatric specialists and sub-specialists. In addition, the hospital continues to evolve its clinical practices and is working with leading local and national research partners to uncover new breakthroughs in pediatric medicine.


Currently a 345 bed facility, new construction plans were unveiled in October 2006 that include the building of two new patient bed towers and expansion in bed capacity and other key programs and services over the course of the next several years. Primary Purpose:


Provides experienced accounting performance of pre-assigned tasks as assigned by financial management; uses professional knowledge and experience to create, with reasonable independence subject to ongoing review, the entries and/or reports needed to account for transactions of the PCH organization, supervising more junior accountants as may be assigned to him/her for such supervision.

Minimum Qualifications:


3 years relevant accounting experience

Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field

Preferred Qualifications:


2 years in a complex health care setting

5 years relevant accounting experience

CPA

Masters degree
