Job: PROJECT MANAGER-SOFTWARE DEVELOPER (PROGRAMMER)

Kinetik I.T. is a Microsoft Certified Partner and we are looking for a full-time software development project manager who also has recent software development/programming experience in Microsoft Access, .NET (ASP.NET, VB.NET or C#) and SQL Server.

The ideal candidate will have extensive commercial software development/programming
experience in full life cycle development (analysis, design, implementation, testing) and
furthermore has experience in writing solid scopes of work and estimating project tasks.

The ideal candidate will also have experience in project management, will be responsible for and needs to be able to successfully execute project management tasks such as:

- Project Organization and Planning
- Project Time Lines and Schedules
- Project Budget Control
- Project Resources Scheduling
- Budget Control and Deadlines
- Customer Communication
- Change Order Process
- Time Management
- Quality Control/Assurance
- Project Documentation
- Project Management Documentation
- Interviewing & hiring of software developers

This is a multi-faceted job that will require approx. 60% full-life cycle software development and 40% full-life cycle project management of 6-10 projects. The projects will vary in scope and size ranging from small to medium size projects. Each project may have 1-3 developers assigned to it.

Technical Requirements:

Min. of 5 years of commercial experience in developing Windows applications with Access,
SQL Server (database design, stored procedures) a must

Min. of 1-2 years of commercial experience in developing Windows or Web applications
with .NET 2.0 or 3.5 (ASP.NET, VB.NET or C#) a must

Min. of 3 years of commercial experience in full-life cycle project management of software
development projects using Microsoft Project.

Configuration management using Visual SourceSafe

Key knowledge of Structured & Object Oriented Programming Techniques

Key knowledge of application, database and GUI design

Min. of 1-2 years of commercial experience in JavaScript a plus

Configuration management using Visual SourceSafe a plus

Experience in Rapid Prototyping a plus

Crystal Reports experience a plus.

Consulting experience a plus.

Excellent communication and writing skills
