Pharmacist

The Arizona Medical Center in Mesa, AZ is currently looking for FT and PT Inpatient Pharmacists. Successful candidates will provide pharmaceutical services to patients in a prompt, friendly manner that optimizes patient safety. Our Pharmacists also provide consultations and oversees the dispensing of medication in accordance with federal and state regulations.

Pharmacist Responsibilities:
• Fill patient prescriptions in compliance with all laws, regulations, while complying with company policies and procedures
o Product inventory and retrieval
o Product counts/pours/measures required
o Ensure labels are properly affixed to packaging
o Performs a final audit of product prior to hand-off
• Responds in a courteous and professional manner to customers and physicians regarding prescriptions and health related products.
• Manages and directs pharmacy operations to keep wait times to a minimum.
• Responds to requests from vendors, physicians, and customers that require Pharmacists expertise.

Education/Experience:
• A college degree in Pharmacy (BS or Pharm D).
• State licensure as a Pharmacist required
• Customer service abilities including effective listening skills
• Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast paced environment
• One or more years of experience preferred

Hours:
Full Time, Part Time and PRN hours available

Compensation:
