Job: Default Services Supervisor - Loan Modification Team

Description:

Direct a team of Loss Mitigation -Loan Modification Specialists in the Default Services Department.

Responsibilities:

• Train, motivate, hire and supervise staff.
• Complete quality reviews and establish staff goals.
• Ensure monthly charge-off and investor reporting is accurate and prepared on time.
• Analyze referred accounts to determine best course of action, giving special attention to loss prevention, loss calculations and predictions.
• Review legal documents for accuracy (i.e. Deeds in Lieu, foreclosure, forbearance agreements, and suits.
• Ensure bills and invoices are handled correctly and promptly.

Requirements:

• Previous supervisory experience preferred underwriting, loan modification, short sale and/or collection supervisory experience a plus.
• 5+ years experience collecting and/or underwriting in a variety of markets; Loss Mitigation mortgage industry preferred.
• Experience with Bankruptcy, Foreclosure and/or handling other legal situations preferred.
• College degree in finance or business related field preferred.
• Able to direct, lead, and motivate.
• Organized and detail oriented; Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Able to meet goals and deadlines in a fast-paced hectic environment.
• Knowledge of the Standard Operating Procedures, FDCPA, and the legal responsibilities involved with collections, bankruptcies, foreclosures and charge-offs.
• Able to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Able to meet department attendance standards.
