Job: RN - Director of Nursing

Baptist Village - Cook Health Care, is a leader in providing compassionate care for Seniors in a beautiful 126 bed skilled nursing facility located in Youngtown, Arizona. We seek an energetic and enthusiastic self-starter to join our team as the RN - Director of Nursing.

Our RN - Director of Nursing is responsible for the supervision and administration of nursing services. Provides for nursing care of Residents in a skilled nursing facility and cooperates with both, members of the Nursing Department and Associates of other departments. Responsible for the investigation and study of trends and developments in nursing practices and techniques and evaluates their adaptability to the needs of our nursing program. Develops, revises and adapts work techniques and methods for the resolving of unusual or complex nursing problems.

The ideal candidate will be a motivated professional, with a passion for serving elders. Other important attributes include:

•A desire to help our Residents recognize the value and purpose of their lives and to experience dignity, respect and self-worth.

•Plans, organizes, and directs all nursing services in order to ensure efficient and competent care of Residents.

•Must possess a working knowledge of the functions of all skilled nursing facility departments.

•Must be flexible, take direction with a pleasant attitude, and have a positive outlook toward the job and the goals of the facility.
