Job: Branch Manager in Flagstaff

Arizona Central Credit Union is searching for a seasoned manager for our newest branch in Flagstaff! Experience in leading and motivating staff to exceptional sales and service results is required.

Branch Manager Role:
All ACCU employees are expected to assist the Credit Union in fulfilling its vision of helping people achieve financial success for every stage of life. This is accomplished by providing outstanding service to both internal and external members. A key component of this service delivery is to build long term member relationships by identifying the financial needs of our members and offering them a Credit Union solution that will improve their financial life. In addition, the position directs the operations of a remote credit union facility, ensuring the branch meets organizational, financial, operational, service and growth plans.

Summary of Job Functions and Responsibilities:
Directs, develops, motivates, hires and disciplines branch personnel; administers performance evaluations and recommends appropriate personnel actions.
Underwrites consumer loans according to Credit Union policies and procedures. Monitors branch operating results relative to established objectives and ensures that appropriate steps are taken to correct unsatisfactory performance.
Represents the branch in its relationships with members, community groups, S.E.G.s, suppliers, other financial institutions and similar groups.
Monitors all branch activities to ensure compliance with established Credit Union policies and procedures.
Meets budget and growth plan and maintain the financial stability of the branch.
Develops and maintain a qualified staff to consistently meet members’ needs.
Develops and maintain business partner relationships within the surrounding community.

Experience: Two to five years of similar or related experience required (banking or credit union industry, including underwriting and supervising staff)
Education: A two-year college degree or completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school
Other Skills: Demonstrated leadership skills, especially in the areas of sales and coaching. Sound and consistent judgment and decision making abilities, excellent communication skills, and a working knowledge of MS Office are necessary.
