Jobing Description
Wamore is an engineering and manufacturing company located at the Deer Valley Airpark. We specialize in mechanical and electromechanical new product development for commercial,
military and aerospace clients. Currently Wamore is seeking a qualified U. S. Citizen- Federal
Contract Specialist. The Contract Specialist will liaise with all levels of the company to perform "Cradle to Grave" Contracts Administration tasks. This is a temporary position that could lead to full time if Wamore captures program under consideration.

* Prepare pre-award contract documentation (SOW, CDRL's, DD-254, etc). Familiar with Army acquisition processes.
* Consult with principals to ensure the appropriate resources (funding, manpower, equipment, etc.) are identified for the life of the contract.
* Monitor contract performance for conformance to contractual requirements.
* Prepare pricing, obtains required internal approvals, and responds to customer inquiries and internal request for contract information.
* Prepare special reports and analysis as required.
* Track projects pending the completion of procurement actions and provides project reports.
* Provide guidance to technical personnel involved in the development of work or data
requirements, and analyzes financial and technical information.
* Monitoring progress of designated contracts through reports, etc., to determine
delivery/performance problems, adequacy of funds, projected overruns and contractor
delinquencies.

Skills / Requirements
* Qualified U. S. Citizen Federal Contract Specialist candidates
* Experience in acquisition planning, and evaluating proposals
* Must have experience interfacing with external contacts with various Government personnel including buyers, contracting officers, inventory managers, auditors (DCAA) and Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) personnel
* Knowledgeable in Federal procurement regulations
* Familiarity with Contract Filing structures and checklists
* Bachelors degree or a combination applicable education/work experience
* Proficient in using office automation equipment
* Task oriented; self motivated and have the inherent ability to multi task, work under pressure, meet deadlines and work as a team member.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and experience with Microsoft Office products including Excel & Word.
