Job: Childcare Teachers

Kids Corner, a DHS licensed division of Homeward Bound, is seeking childcare teachers to work with children age six weeks through five years.

Teachers are responsible for implementing safe developmentally appropriate program activities, including but not limited to, program planning, supervision of children, and any additional duties as specified by learning center leadership.

Teachers assist in ensuring that all safety, reporting and quality requirements are met as per the learning center statement of services and the licensing requirements of the State of Arizona.

Hours of operation are 6:30am - 6:00pm; shifts vary.

Minimum of 18 years of age.

HS or HS-equivalency diploma.

Minimum of two years of childcare experience.

CDA, Associate or Bachelor’s degree in early childhood, child development or related field (preferred).

Law enforcement record clear of any misdemeanor or felony conviction.

Ability to be fingerprinted and receive Class 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card.

Able to comply with state regulations regarding immunizations and TB testing.
