Job: Foreclosure Specialist

Description:
Pursue foreclosures on Home Equity/ Home Improvement Mortgage Accounts in order to achieve foreclosure goals and objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Moving aged accounts to foreclosure sale, addressing low value properties timely, high balance reviews, lost liens to tax sale, prepare equity analysis with detail and accuracy, meeting FNMA timelines on each foreclosure file while closely monitoring attorneys and the overall quality performed on all daily job tasks. Responsible for payment of delinquent taxes and ensuring proper payment has been received by taxing jurisdictions. Work closely with attorneys on litigation and contested foreclosure matters.
• Meet department standards set forth on maintaining % of past due activities, daily productivity, managing current and accurate late steps, and statuses in Fortracs, using delay steps appropriately and clearing all lenstar and alert messages daily.
• Maintaining a minimum of 90% for individual FNMA timelines, submitting all files for bid at least 10 days prior to the foreclosure sale fully completed and updated. Having a thorough knowledge of computer operations, company standards and policies.

Requirements:

• 2+ years experience working with mortgages and/or mortgage collections, preferably in foreclosure processing.
• FHA claim processing experience.
• Able to review and analyze title reports and clear title issues.
• Strong numeric aptitude, problem solving and analytical skills.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Detail oriented and organized; able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and maintain a positive attitude.
• Able to meet goals and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to follow Company’s standard operating procedures, equity finance programs, comply with FDCPA regulations, and follow the legal responsibilities involved with collections, bankruptcies, foreclosures and charge-offs.
• Ability to meet department attendance standards.
