Reporting directly to our VP of Client Experience, the Collections Manager will be working with our clients to bring their accounts current and minimize the losses on past due accounts, while continuing to provide the level of client service that we have built our reputation upon. This position is fully responsible for the company's accounts receivable process, and will be working directly with our local market teams to help resolve client delinquencies as well as creating and executing company policy towards collections. By understanding our business and service expectations, the Collections Manager will determine appropriate credit limits for clients, work to evaluate account solvency and the ability/willingness to pay, negotiate with clients, and develop appropriate plans to bring current client accounts. To be successful, strong negotiation skills are critical in this role. The selected candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing and executing the process and procedure for escalating past due accounts to collections, and providing support to our local sales team to help reduce the number of accounts that move to this stage. The ultimate goal - to create systems that both increase our collections success rate and reduce our DSO for all A/R. Skills / Requirements
The ideal candidate must have both a strong collections and client service background, as this role needs to be able to balance maintaining a good relationship with the users of our website
service while ensuring that the companies with whom we conduct business our honoring their obligations to us. Very strong written and verbal communications are a must, along with excellent computer skills. Prior experience with SalesForce and Great Plains is preferable. Demonstrated participation in process improvement and/or project management is highly desirable. Important Notes
BS/BA degree or equivalent.
