Job: Outside Sales - Industrial Supply

MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITIES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

* Call on prospective business customers provided by company-generated leads and various types of self-generated leads.

* Schedule visits with prospective clients and ensure all calls are visited in a logical, geographic sequence to achieve the required number of visits per year.

* Answer client questions about products, prices, product uses, delivery and credit/payment requirements.

* Recommend products to meet client needs and ensure we are providing our clients with all products possible.

* Build and maintain client relationships.

* Attend and participate in meetings and training sessions.

* Complete relevant paperwork accurately and in a timely manner and continually update your product and market knowledge.

* Meet individual sales goals and contribute toward departmental sales goals and minimum standards.

* Present a professional image of the Company to current and prospective clients.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

* Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, and percentages.

* Ability to work cooperatively as part of a team.

* Competitive nature, persuasive written and verbal communication skills.

* Must be 21 years and older with a valid drivers license.

* Prepared to work outside of office hours when necessary.

* Must be self-motivated and able to work unsupervised.
