Seeking experienced, hands on, organized team leader to provide skilled repairs, personnel management and maintenance services at a 350 unit homeowner association community.
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for maintaining the physical integrity of the exterior each of each townhome, to maintain the grounds in good condition and the amenities of the Association (two pools, tennis courts and an R.V. area). This is a full-time position (40 hours per week Monday through Friday). Good driving record with valid Arizona Driver’s license and reliable transportation required. Duties and responsibilities: Perform maintenance tasks personally or delegate to team of three maintenance staff members. Oversee and inspect the work performed by the maintenance staff. Ability to be a leader, but also a team player. Manage system for handling service requests submitted by homeowners. This will often require personal discussion and documentation with the homeowner. Proven, effective customer service skills are a must. Report to and take direction from the designated Board member. Skills / Requirements
Skills:
Excellent carpentry skills to make repairs to exterior of the homes, replace shed doors, repair gates, replace fascia boards, etc. Make roofing repairs and be able to diagnose roof related problems. Asphalt patching and ability to oversee a contractor when they seal or replace asphalt. Exterior stucco repairs when needed. Side walk concrete replacements when needed. Good working understanding of irrigation systems and ability to make proper recommendations and repairs. General knowledge of grounds maintenance, including proper pruning of shrubs and trees. General knowledge of pool maintenance if needed. Ability to diagnose sewer or plumbing problems and to make temporary repairs. Physical Requirements: Constant need (67 to 100% of the time) to be on feet and perform following physical activities: * Bend, stoop, squat, knee. * Perform routine maintenance/repairs * Pick up tools and needed equipment * Carry and hoist materials as needed * Push &/or Pull equipment * Reach above shoulder * Climb ladders * Grasp, grip, turning * Finger dexterity Mutual Management Services Preview
