This position will give you an opportunity to provide human resource services for employees, management, and senior leadership in the IT department. You will serve as a primary point of contact concerning human resources issues in a fast paced, rapidly growing environment. Essential Responsibilities - Performs all duties related to employee relations. - Guides supervisors and managers in the application of the corrective action and grievance process. - Participates in company-wide Human Resource projects, taking project lead or other roles as assigned. - Serves as a mentor and leader for other members of the HR team. - Oversees the annual salary determination and incentive pay process. - Partners with HR community to facilitate management and employee understanding of Coventry´s total compensation system. - Explains the salary determination process to supervisors and managers to effectively allocate dollars based on individual and organizational performance. - Conducts training programs including, but not limited to, new employee orientation, supervisory training, and staff skill development. - Coordinates and/or delivers training programs individually or as part of training team. - Responsible for data input and data integrity for the HRMS and PeopleSoft. - Recruits and screens applicants for managerial, technical, professional and support positions. - Initiates and coordinates all required documentation to complete the employment process including all EEO/AA related documentation. - Assists recruitment team and hiring supervisors in the employment process by developing and implementing effective recruitment and retention techniques. - Performs other duties as required. Job Specifications
- Bachelor´s degree or equivalent experience. - Previous (3-5 years) progressively responsible experience as a professional HR generalist or similar position. - Proven ability to quickly adapt to changes in work load and responsibilities. - Proven ability to maintain the highest level of professionalism and confidentiality in all situations. - Analytical and project management skills. - Consulting and leadership skills; innovative and flexible. - Effective communication and presentation skills. - Willing to travel day or overnight trips for company business (approximately 1-2 times per month). - PHR/SPHR Certification preferred Important Notes
