Job: Wily (Introscope) Systems Performance Analyst

Choice Hotels International is currently seeking an experienced, knowledgeable and highly skilled professional to join us at our regional headquarters in Phoenix. As our Wily Systems Performance Analyst, you will examine, report on and optimize the performance of our proprietary hotel management and reservation software/hardware systems. Additionally you will resolve technical issues for specific systems involving Introscope/CEM to minimize downtime and optimize hotel revenues.


Working independently and with IT groups across our organization, you will act as our performance management expert regarding such application areas as development, quality assurance, distribution, training and systems support. Duties include gathering/analyzing information, making data easy-to-understand for laypersons, monitoring critical transactions, and troubleshooting issues escalated by help desk professionals, analysts and other internal/external teammates.

CHOICE HOTELS INTERNATIONAL

The qualified applicant has:
Bachelor’s Degree
3+ years experience with web-based applications and internet reporting
At least 1 year of proven success in root cause analyses and troubleshooting
Experience preparing business level data analyses. Extensive knowledge of TCP/IP, networking topology, Routers and switches. Familiarity with throughput, latency, memory & CPU utilization, and with systems performance tools, such as Wily Introscope/CEM
Strong verbal/written/listening communication, interpersonal, multitasking, customer service skills
MS Office proficiency with advanced skills in Excel
Database experience SQL/Oracle
Ability to create complex DB queries, understand client/user needs, resolve system bottlenecks, identify possible software limitations and express complex technical concepts in business terms
Willingness to be on-call as needed

The preferred candidate has experience with Apache Tomcat, Java Servlet Pages Technology, AJAX and LDAP. Desired certifications include ITIL Foundation, Six Sigma and various Microsoft professional designations including MCP, MCITP and MCM.
