Job: Injection Molding Machine Operator

Allstaff Services is searching for persons experienced with injection molding machine operation to work in a large medical supply manufacturing warehouse in South Tucson. Position will requiring standing for long periods of time. Shift right now is working 2PM-10:30PM M-F. Long term temporary assignment with the possibility of temp to hire for the right candidate.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Performs all essential duties associated with each injection molding or extrusion job which requires an operator.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Operates machine in a safe and efficient manner
• Meets all standard cycle times defined by the validation process.
• Ensures that all products produced meets or exceeds Quality criteria.
• Follows all applicable Standard Operating procedures including operation, instructions, and test methods.
• Reports all quality issues to Supervisor immediately.
• Reports any machine/mold malfunctions to supervisor immediately.
• Performs other duties as assigned by shift supervisor.
• Accountable for taking actions on stated intentions & assigned duties.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Previous work in a manufacturing environment a plus.
• High School Degree or Equivalent preferred
• Knowledge of basic machine operations
• Quality conscious a must
• Able to lift up to 50#
• Ability to maintain a good working relationship with co-workers and the general
public
