Job: Respiratory Therapist

Well established medical company with a strong niche in the DME industry interested in starting new division is looking for a qualified Respiratory Therapist. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with CPAP equipment. You must be comfortable explaining CPAP equipment to patients in a home setting and be willing to participate in on-call responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

· Perform all offered respiratory therapies and manage respiratory equipment and supplies to assure safe and accurate patient care
· Carry out clerical and manual duties consisting of paperwork for chart data entry, input departmental charges, filing documents and other task as assigned and or deemed necessary
· Participate in performance improvement and quality assurance audits is expected
· Responsible for ordering patient care equipment and supplies related to respiratory care

· Respiratory Therapy degree from an accredited school.
· Current State License by State Board of Respiratory Care Examiner.
· Certification and/or Registration by the NBRC preferred.
· CPR certification required; ACLS preferred.
· 2+ years experience in an acute care setting
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
