The practitioner will understand and apply fundamental techniques of respiratory therapy to adult, adolescent, pediatric and neonatal patients in an acute care setting and home care and/or to adolescent, adult and geriatric patients in skilled nursing and resident care facilities, dependent on area of assignment. Requires a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential, registry eligiblity preferred, with a current Arizona license to practice respiratory care. Requires BCLS certification. Must have clinical experience and ability to perform basic respiratory therapy modalities. Banner Registry requires at least a minimum of one year experience in an acute care hospital setting. Experience must include working in an acute care setting within the past 18 months as a Respiratory Care Practitioner in an acute setting.
