Job: Medical Assisant

NextCare Urgent Care is one of the largest and fastest growing urgent care chains nationwide and is looking for Medical Assistants for 2 of Tucson locations, full-time at Calle Santa Cruz and part-time weekends at Pima and Wilmont

The ideal candidate for this position is an individual who has a minimum of 2-5 years of prior experience in the field; has worked in a large family practice or hospital setting. Most importantly, has EXCELLENT customer service skills.

Some of the duties you will be responsible are as follows:
* Phlebotomy
* Medications
* Splinting and Casting
* Injections
* Patient Vitals
* Ear Lavage
* Sutures and wound care

We are looking for both full-time and part-time but the hours do require flexibility to include working a combination of days, nights and weekends the clinic hours are Mon-Fri 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and weekends from 8:00a.m. - 4:00p.m.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
•High School diploma/GED and Medical Assistant diploma from an accredited technical school
