Job Title: Copywriter/Editor, SR. Customer Communication Representative – Email MarketingTeam, Reports to: Email Marketing Team SupervisorStatus: Non-ExemptJob Summary: Support the Email Marketing Team as the lead copywriter/editor for sales associate emails and email marketing campaigns. This position will work with web coordinators, support team members , supervisors and at times other departments to create, improve, review and approve all emails that are sent out of the customer communications department. In addition this position will also assign email campaign projects to the team on a daily basis.Duties and Responsibilities:1.Review and approve all email campaigns, landing pages, and accompanying electronic marketing collateral (PDF's, etc) prior to sending the final campaign to the customer database audience. 2.Upon reviewing emails, ensure the following criteria are being met; brand standards, email etiquette, appropriate email messaging and design/layouts are up to standards, grammar, attention to writing details appropriate for email.3.Create email content when needed and provide content suggestions and other best practice suggestions for email marketing team members.4.Communicate effectively and in a timely manner with web coordinators, support team and supervisors to successfully execute the email campaigns.5.Prioritize workload daily to accomplish successful coordination and execution of campaigns6.Create copy for national newsletters and possible other departmental copywriting needs. This will require interviewing internal business contacts as arranged by supervisor and then writing articles.7.Assign new daily email campaign requests to design team based on individual workload.Job Qualifications and Requirements:*Minimum 2-4 years experience working in an office environment, responding to or crafting emails or as copywriter/editor in approving some form of electronic marketing.*Some college coursework preferred, preferably in marketing, communications or business.*Experience in marketing, sales, customer service, or communications preferred. *Demonstrated ability to time-manage, prioritize, meet tight deadlines and deliver high quality campaigns on time.*Demonstrated proficiency in grammar, punctuation and email etiquette required. *Demonstrated ability to pick up technical applications and concepts quickly.*Ability to effectively navigate in a Windows environment. *Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Frontpage, HTML and customer database management systems.*Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. *Ability to work independently and in a team environment.*Must be available M-F 8-5.*Must be flexible and embrace changeApplicants must already have an established residence within the Phoenix Valley.
