Job: PT Evenings - Outbound Phone Representative

Employees relate to customers on outgoing calls in an engaging, personable manner and proactively promote the Discover Card brand. New employees place outbound calls to existing customers and are required to be on the phone for the entire shift. All employees are required to make outbound calls to our cardmembers, speaking to the benefits and features of our products in a relevant way that gains the customers commitment to use their Discover Card on future purchases.

This is a phone position requiring a persuasive communication style and ability to overcome initial customer objections.

Work Schedule: Part Time Evenings: 20-29 hours per week. Availability of 3pm - 9pm is required Mon - Fri AND 7am - 2pm on weekends.
Weekend and holiday scheduling is required to meet business needs.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient keyboarding skills.

Excellent organizational skills.
Excellent administrative and analytical skills.
Proficient in using a Windows-based PC.
Call Center Experience preferred but not required.
High School diploma or GED preferred but not required.
