POSITION SUMMARY

Provides support to all levels of the Remuda system in maintaining compliance with JCAHO Performance Improvement (PI) Accreditation Standards and specifically Infection Control requirements. Promotes a culture of continuous Performance Improvement and educates staff regarding Performance Improvement tools and standards as it relates to PI / IC, Maintains a tracking system for Performance Improvement / Infection Control Measures, and analyzes data for use by the Performance Improvement Council, Safety Committee, and other staff. Coordinates Performance Improvement Council meetings and documentation. Participates in interdisciplinary PI Teams and Safety Committee.

We are a growing company that has in these most recent years added distinct programs as well for boys with eating disorders and now also an anxiety disorder program for women.

Wickenburg is about a half hour from the Phoenix Metro outer limits, nestled in the high Sonoran desert and little western town. You will discover this provides you a beautiful, desert drive commute without all the stop-and-go traffic congestion and frustration of driving in the city allowing you the time to comfortably transition between work and family investments.

QUALIFICATIONS

Educational/Experience:
1. R.N., with Bachelor’s Degree preferred, plus 3-5 years technical training and/or experience in Performance Improvement/Quality Management & Infection Control in a behavioral healthcare setting. 2. Training or experience in adult education. 3. Minimum of two years management experience preferred, particularly in the area of Performance Improvement or Quality Management. 4. Prefer advanced experience with Microsoft Windows and Office, particularly PowerPoint and Access. 5. Prefer basic knowledge of regulatory standards as it relates to Infection Control & Prevention and / or Employee Health.

Skills:
- Knowledge of Performance Improvement systems and JCAHO - Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work under minimal supervision - Functions well within schedules and deadlines - Working knowledge of Risk Management/Infection Control - Competent report/letter writing skills - Medical record review expertise - Effective communication and training skills with all staff levels - Demonstrated curriculum development and instruction abilities - Strong customer service skills and public presentation
