Job: Bank Teller

Primary Function:
Provide quality service, and refer and/or cross-sell bank services when processing customer transactions. Answer customer inquiries and perform any and all functions necessary to provide customers with prompt, efficient, and friendly service.

Essential Functions:
1. Assist customers with deposits, withdrawals, payments, and coin and cash orders in a friendly courteous manner.
2. Be knowledgeable in assisting customers with selling savings bonds, travelers checks, cashier checks, and cash advances.
3. Balance teller drawer daily with a 95% or better balancing record.
4. Work with branch manager regarding cash levels for the office and the ATM to determine the levels to maintain.
5. Responsible for assisting with ATM filling weekly with cash and making entries.
6. Promote and follow the Customer Constitution.
7. Be an enthusiastic participant in the Sales and Service Program performing telemarketing and referral activities.
8. Act within all Security and Compliance procedures and policies.
9. Keep an open communication with manager regarding all situations with customers or coworkers in the office as they arise.
10. Assist in quality service to provide methods to enhance the offices productivity.
11. Meet the Great Expectations Minimum Standards & Non-Negotiables.
12. Adhere to all Polices and Procedures.
13. Attend and/or participate in training programs, which include on-line classes and department training.
14. Back up to vault teller and lead teller.
15. Assist with new hire teller training as requested.
16. Perform other duties as requested.

* Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
* Strong math skills and customer service skills.
* Must be detail oriented, able to stand for long periods of time and lift 20 to 50 pounds.
* Cashier and balancing experience a plus.
