Job: Full Time Teller

Sunwest Federal Credit Union is looking for a hard working, detail oriented full-time Teller to join our team! We're a non-profit, member owned credit union that takes great pride in providing high levels of service to our members.

In this position, you will do the following:

1.Handle and process in an accurate and timely manner member transactions which include, but are not limited to deposits, withdrawals cash advances, loan payments, transfers, travelers cheques, money orders and stop payments.

2.Pay member drafts after verifying the integrity of the draft instrument for proper endorsements and negotiability.

3.Process incoming mail to ensure all deposits and loan payments are properly entered.

4.Provide members with information regarding Credit Union services and cross-sell programs as applicable. May be asked to open new accounts or handle member complaints or problems or assist with safe deposit box rental and admittance.

5.Under dual control process Night Depository, ATM deposit verifications and assist with the verification of cash from correspondent institution.

6.Maintain proper cash levels at teller station and balance teller drawer and perform a final balance at the end of the day.

7.Other sundry duties as may be assigned.

You must have a financial background to be considered for this position!

High school diploma

Minimum of six months cash handling experience

Pleasant, outgoing personality
