Location: 100 N. 15th Ave., Phoenix. The Arizona Department of Administration's mission is to provide effective and efficient support services to enable government agencies, state employees and the public to achieve their goals. The Human Resources Division of the Department of Administration is currently looking for an experienced Lawson Analyst to join their team in the HRIS unit. DESCRIPTION: This position will be responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining Lawson application software to established standards and specifications. Modifying acquired application software using tables, profiles and other vendor supplied customization tools to reflect approved changes specified by the users. The employee will participate in the definition of functional and technical requirements for application software. In cooperation with technical support and operations staff, prepare application software procedures and documentation for usage, operation, back up and recovery, problem resolution; provides HRIS production support. Skills / Requirements
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING:
*3-5 yrs. Experience, designing and developing modifications and custom programs using Lawson 4GL and COBOL on a UNIX platform is required *Design Studio development experience *In depth Knowledge of Lawson's Portal and SEA architecture *3-5 yrs. Programming experience on Lawson's ESS/MSS applications *Excellent troubleshooting skills as they relate to the Lawson Applications, Portal and SEA environment are required *Join the on-call rotation schedule to support the HRIS production system Skill in/Ability to: *Reading and interpreting detailed technical information *Analyzing and interpreting system data *Formulating solutions to system-related issues *Interpersonal communication skills *Creating technical documentation Important Notes
