Job: Network Engineer

Position Overview:
This position is responsible for implementing, managing, and troubleshooting the existing network and system environments while providing support for a variety of hardware. Ensure that the performance and availability of the data and/or voice infrastructure is maintained to the highest standards so that maximum productivity is achieved. The position may also provide training and mentoring to junior resources (helpdesk technicians or engineers), recommend and establish network policies and procedures, assist with network moves, performance issues, implementations, upgrades, patches, installation of new applications and equipment, and ticket resolution.

Job Skills & Responsibilities:
• CCNA (required)
• Data network based LAN and WAN protocols
• Understanding of TCP/IP fundamentals,
• Cisco switching and routing knowledge (BGP, EIGRP, OSPF), circuit knowledge (Frame relay, DS3, DS1, ISDN)
• Knowledge of network monitoring tools (Orion, Websense, NetQOS, NetIQ, Vitalsuites, Ehealth)
• Strong security mindset and are comfortable with working in Windows-based environments, IPT and voicemail program and configuration (Cisco)
• Circuit work including troubleshooting, configuration, and install
• Call center knowledge and technology, Voice system design, Voice equipment installs.
