Job Description:
Under general direction, assumes a lead role in the support of software programs or modules across multiple clinical and/or business functions. Demonstrates an understanding of the impact of IT on the business environment. This includes analysis and support for installed systems, as well as system implementation and integration projects, which require systems analysis, design, testing and implementation for specific modules or applications. Identifies complex problems and is able to propose solutions. Works on strategic projects with a Project Manager and is able to manage small to mid sized operational projects independently. Guides and advises less experienced Systems Analysts. Performs additional functions as detailed by immediate supervisor. If a licensed RN, provides consultation on projects impacting nursing
Skills / Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required with 7 years relevant technical experience without a degree OR Bachelors degree in a relevant technical discipline with a minimum of 3 years relevant experience OR Masters degree in a relevant technical discipline with a minimum of 1 year relevant experience required.
Other Qualifications:
Experience with Cerner Millennium SNSurgiNet is highly desirable. Experience with SNAnethesia / Biomedical Device Interface a plus.
Multi-institutional health systems or health care consulting experience is preferred. Demonstrated competence in the principles of systems analysis concepts, methodologies, tools, standards and procedures, product level analysis, design and integration of new, upgrade and replacement systems, problem definition and resolution, project management, communication and interpersonal skills.

Hours/Pay Period: 80
Schedule Details: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
Weekend Schedule: Evening/week-ends occasionally as projects require. On call support schedule.
Compensation Detail: Salaried - Education, experience, and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended. The minimum salary every two weeks is approximately $2,575.20, based on a full-time position.
