Catholic Foundation for Stewardship and Charitable Giving Inc., Tucson – Finance Specialist

The Catholic Foundation for the Diocese of Tucson is seeking applicants for the full-time exempt position of Finance Specialist. The Finance Specialist is responsible for managing all accounting functions of the Catholic Foundation in accord with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and Nonprofit management procedures. This includes responsibility for the safeguarding of assets in support of the mission and goals of the Foundation and the Diocese of Tucson.

Skills / Requirements

The person selected must have strong leadership skills, excellent interpersonal, human relations and communications skills in addition to being well-organized, and a team player. Also required are a bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance or a related study, a formal education as a bookkeeper or equivalent experience, and two to four years of increasingly responsible accounting experience, preferably in a non-profit, fund raising environment.
