Jobing Description

Repairs and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment such as engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines and equipment which would include video jets, hydraulics, building electrical and capacities.

Observe mechanical devices in operation and listen to their sounds to locate cause of trouble.
Dismantle devices to gain access to and remove, replace or repair defective parts.
Examines form and texture of products and parts to detect imperfections.
Inspects used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements.
Adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments.

Skills / Requirements

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak before groups of customers and employees of organizaation.

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume. Basic Algebra and Geometry.

Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and or training: or equivalent combination of education and experience,
