Director of Digital MarketingPosition Purpose:The Director of Digital Marketing is responsible for leading the development and execution of Digital Marketing Strategies across all divisions of a major mass market insurance firm in Northeast Phoenix with 35 different products, and is the key driver of digital marketing innovation and capabilities required to deliver optimum customer experiences and while achieving return on investment objectives.Essential Functions/Duties:Drive digital marketing innovation across existing channels incorporating new technologies and digital marketing methodologies where required and within established return on investment criteria.Work with external and internal clients to report on and ensure completion of key processes and projects. Oversee and direct Digital Marketing efforts.Monitor and analyze existing methods and tools to provide continuous improvements and plan for future trends.Apply corporate strategy and align division strategy to promote efficiency and productivity optimization.Lead direct reports to take actions consistent with the company's overall strategy.Lead and develop staff to improve quality and achieve high levels of performance.Ensure all direct reports deliver expected results and manage responsibilities as outlined in the job descriptions and corresponding performance metrics and standards.Manage divisional activities to mandated budgets and achieve CFO-approved capital investment ROI performance targets or benchmarks for assigned projects and areas of responsibility.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree required5-10 years demonstrated experience driving strategic online, email, mobile, social and video capabilities to deliver digital marketing results in a complex environment.Strong understanding of multi-channel marketing in an affinity-based marketing environment.Demonstrated expertise with digital marketing tools and processes, including lead capture, paid media, content management, email campaign management, social media, microsites and landing pages.Demonstrated experience and a passion for social technology.Supervisory experience required.Ability to execute SEO, SEM and social media optimization.Good working knowledge of HTML, CSS, Javascript and Life Ray CMS.Online monitoring and measurement platforms.This position reports to the Chief Marketing Officer and supervises two employees. Travel to California is required on a quarterly basis.
