CONTRACT THERAPIST: Our new and expanding program is seeking a therapist who can provide Dialectical Behavior Therapy to clients in our Intensive Outpatient Program. Therapist will need to be able to proficiently work with personality disorders, high risk clients, mood disorders and other mental health problems. Evening and some weekends are necessary to do this job. This therapist will provide group, family, individual and multifamily therapy.

Skills / Requirements

There is a productivity requirement for this position which will be discussed in the interview or phone screening. Applicants must have a minimum of Masters degree in counseling, social work or other behavioral health related field. ALL APPLICANTS MUST BE LICENSED BY THE AZ BOARD OF BEHAVIORAL HEALTH EXAMINERS AS ONE OF THE FOLLOWING: LPC, LAC, LCSW, LMFT. The agency can provide supervision for LAC toward and LPC. LMSW's or LAMFT will be considered, however, supervision may not count toward independent license. LASAC or LISAC do not qualify unless one of the other licenses are in place.

Applicants must provide proof of training in Marsha Linehan's DBT model. Applicants must have experience and proficiency in managing high risk behaviors and working with personality disorders.

All applicants must have current fingerprint clearance card. Professional liability insurance is required as well

The following is recommended for this position:

Experienced in sexual abuse and trauma recovery
EMDR trained
Experienced in treating co-occurring disorders
Experienced in treating mandated clients
Can be flexible with work hours and work weekends and evenings

There are opportunities to work with other populations and programs at our agency as well. Applicants who are credentialed with private insurance companies or are willing to apply to private insurance companies are preferred for this position
