Our legacy of caring for our community continues with our recent renovation and expansion project, including a 200-bed patient tower, bringing us to a 563-licensed bed medical center.  The new tower is home to the hospital’s new and expanded Emergency department, one of the busiest in the Northwest Valley, and is an acre in size with 75 treatment areas. Our Level III NICU stands above the rest, combining state-of-the-art intensive and intermediate care for babies in a soothing and warm, private room environment. Our Children's Center houses 24-private patient rooms and is staffed by highly skilled and compassionate professionals. Banner Thunderbird utilizes an electronic medical records system designed to improve patient safety and recently earned Echocardiography Lab accreditation, helping us to detect and manage heart disease and save lives. These accomplishments shine their brightest in the hands of our professionals who dedicate themselves to improving their patients’ lives.
