Employment Blog: Life Development Institute

We hope to have five to ten employers that will agree to conduct 30 minute interviews with approximately 20 students.  Students will sign up for 2 mock interviews with the company of their choice; the interviews usually last 30 minutes.  The suggested format for the interviews is 15 minutes of questions and 15 minutes of review and feedback.  Company overviews will be presented at 9:00 a.m. and interviews will be conducted between the hours of 9:30 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.   If you are unable to participate the entire session, please provide the times in which you or your participating representatives are available.

The students and staff at Life Development Institute are very excited to be a part of the Jobing.com blogging community! Life Development Institute has been a part of the Phoenix Metro Area for twenty-five years, as a matter of fact, this fall will celebrate that event! Our program serves a very diverse group of individuals not often recognized in today's workplace as a minority population, however, this population is mostly referred to as either "invisible or hidden" to most people. But to those of us who fall into this minority population certainly realize on a day to day basis is that we have worked so hard to achieve our goals to the degree of an average of ten times longer per day and ten times harder is that it is just a part of our lives, so we have learned to accept that fact, chosen a career wisely based on passion, interest, and ability, and then applied this to continue this work to provide to our part to our peers, our employers, our customers, our families, and our communities!

In our company we work with both high school students and young adults to obtain the highest level of achievement in their lives, one that will carry them further than even their educational pursuits (which we help them achieve as well) and that is their personal passion in being the best they can be and empowering themselves by being a part of something even greater, a part of the diverse world we live in! Everyone is a unique individual!!

Life Development Institute offers a unique approach to learning through doing, and exploring adult learning through listening to our students and the demands of the global market in looking at the changes in how people are working together. We understands the demands of the employer and our students therefore learn what their expectations are when choosing the career that is right for them!
