Interested in recreation and tourism management or the travel industry as a career? Come to the ASU Alumni Association’s travel program open house on March 5, and take advantage of this gathering of travel aficionados!

The open house is slated to run from 6 to 8 p.m. at Old Main on the Tempe campus. The event is hosted by Sun Devil Destinations, which has more than a dozen trips planned for Alumni Association members and their guests during 2008 and 2009.

Respected tour operators such as Orion Worldwide Tours, AHI, Travel Unlimited, Global Adventure, GoNext, International Ventures, Discovery Treks, Avalon Waterways and many others will be on hand to interact with potential travelers.

This year, Sun Devil Destinations is taking travelers to China, India, Paris, Spain, Mount Kilimanjaro in Africa and the Tuscany region of Italy, as well as to Aspen, Colorado and New York City. Sun Devil Destinations plans to expand the number of family-friendly vacation options it offers over the next year, as well as adding trips of interest to young alumni and recent graduates.
