Blog Post: Sun Devil alums, students share knowledge at successful Career Connections event

Nearly three dozen Arizona State University alumni shared their career experiences and advice with more than 600 current underclassmen at the ASU Alumni Association’s Career Connections event on Oct. 13.

Students’ lives are often changed, or at least significantly impacted by this event, which is co-sponsored by ASU Career Services. Here’s a quote that a student e-mailed to one of our alums after last week’s event:

“First, let me thank you for all the priceless insight and advice you generously provided. Talking to you on Tuesday made me more aware of what I may want to do than any other single-day event in my life I can even think of! Working as a defense contractor is somewhat of my dream right now, however I had no idea how possible such an opportunity is with the right choices.”
