Blog Post: Sun Devil alums, students share knowledge at successful Career Connections event
posted Tuesday, October 20, 2009 2:50 PM
Nearly three dozen Arizona State University alumni shared their career experiences and advice with more than 600 current underclassmen at the ASU Alumni Association’s Career Connections event on Oct. 13. You can visit our photo gallery to see images of the event, as well as a couple of pictures of the luncheon the Alumni Association held between the morning and afternoon sessions to thank alumni participants. Students’ lives are often changed, or at least significantly impacted by this event, which is co-sponsored by ASU Career Services. Here’s a quote that a student e-mailed to one of our alums after last week’s event:
If you’re a Sun Devil alum interested in participating in next year’s event, you can see a list of participants (morning and afternoon sessions), their ASU degrees and their current jobs by visiting our Web site. Alumni with expertise and training in medical fields, graphic arts, and broadcasting are particularly encouraged to apply.
