Blog Post: Network with a new generation: join us for the Young Alumni Launch Party Aug. 24
posted Friday, August 21, 2009 8:49 AM
School starts at ASU on Monday, Aug. 24, and ASU’s newest alumni are celebrating not having to attend class! Join us for the debut of Arizona State University’s Young Alumni Program – a great place to connect with Sun Devils age 35 and under. The fun starts at 5 p.m. at aloft Tempe, 951 E. Playa Del Norte Drive; attendees can enjoy happy hour priced drinks and free food. The Young Alumni program, which is being developed by the ASU Alumni Association, will offer social events and pool parties, host young alumni nights at ASU Gammage and ASU athletics events, put on special gatherings for new graduates at university events like Homecoming, and form teams to provide community service “person-power” to benefit local nonprofit organizations. Most young alums are also busy building a career, so young alumni participating in the program will also receive invites to career-related events hosted by the Alumni Association’s Maroon and Gold Professionals Network and its Women in Business group. Sign up today for the Aug. 24 event and join a fun new program! Tags
