Blog Post: AZSHRM & VSHRA Back Experience Your Future Day

The Arizona State Council of the Society of Human Resource Management (AZSHRM) and the local chapter of the Valley of the Sun Human Resource Association (VSHRA) has always been supporters of workforce development.  Now they've taken it one step further.  In special cooperation with the Jobing Foundation, AZSHRM and VSHRA have chosen to get involved in Experience Your Future Day on multiple fronts supporting the event fiscally, with volunteerism efforts, and through marketing support.

Experience Your Future Day is a one-day experiential learning day that will bring together 7,000 8th grade students from 55 schools in the Phoenix area and local area employers and educators.  Experience Your Future Day will be held on Thursday, April 30th at the University of Phoenix Stadium from 9am to 1pm.  The students will visit the exhibits to learn about future career opportunities and the education required to get there. 

There has been a special page on the Experience Your Future website established for SHRM members to learn more about this exciting event and how to get involved.  If you are not a SHRM member you can still register as an exhibitor or as a volunteer. Please note that you must be registered to attend.  This event is not open to the public.
