posted Thursday, August 14, 2008 4:14 PM
The Student Nurses' Association of Arizona will be hosting its Annual State Convention on October 25, 2008 at the Glendale Renaissance Hotel and Spa.
The Student Nurses’ Association of Arizona (SNAAz) is a nonprofit organization for students enrolled in associate, baccalaureate, diploma, and generic graduate nursing programs. It is dedicated to fostering the professional development of nursing students. SNAAZ’s Board of Directors is made up of 16 nursing students who are elected at the Annual Convention in October. Over 300 nursing students participate in SNAAZ’s Annual Convention, which features leadership and career development activities, opportunities to listen to nursing leaders, hear about job opportunities and the chance to network with other students. The Student Nurse Association of Arizona is a chapter of the National Student Nurse Association and membership is obtained through the NSNA at their website. As a Non-Profit Organization we are seeking sponsors for the convention. This is the opportunity of a lifetime that everyone should be a part of. By being a part of this Convention you will have the opportunity to show your support for the Nursing Students of Arizona. The Nursing Student of today will be the experienced nurse of tomorrow. We are the futre of healthcare and welcome the support from the community. For more information on how you can show your support for the future of healthcare please feel free to email the President of the Student Nurses' Association of Arizona at Kenneth_Winch.snaaz@yahoo.com. We welcome support in all forms.
