This analytical position provides exposure to basic maintenance functions of the largest truckload carrier in North America.  Additional responsibilities for the Parts Procurement Analyst include performing inventory analysis, ensuring a sustainable parts supply process through inventory management and providing analysis on supplier performance and pricing to senior management to support effective decision making regarding supplier processes.

Swift uses many Microsoft products, especially Excel and Access.  The successful candidate in this position must have developed skills in these areas.  Experience using pivot tables and v-look-up functionality in Excel is a must.  Purchasing experience is definitely a plus, however most critical would be strong computer and analytical skills.
