ACCOUNTANT

1013 Communications, LLC, a successful newspaper and multi-media company, is looking for a mid level accountant to become part of a highly skilled financial team at its West Valley operation. This is a hands on position responsible for assisting in various accounting practices; accounts payable and receivable, collections, daily cash deposits, daily production reporting. This position will also assist with month end processes, financial statement preparation and yearly budgeting along with limited HR support duties. This position will report directly to the Senior Business Manager. This is very much a "hands on" accounting role.

Skills / Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, a minimum of two to three years of accounting experience, be technically proficient with Excel and good working knowledge of Quickbooks. Newspaper and multi-media experience is a huge plus.
