Career Network Web Sites To Connect Local Employers with Students and Alumni Across One of World’s Largest Higher Education Systems

PHOENIX, AZ – August 1, 2006 – Jobing.com, a leading Arizona provider of locally-focused job search and recruiting services designed to connect local employers and job seekers, announced today that is has launched a partnership with the Maricopa County Community College District. Recognized as one of the world's largest higher education systems, the District serves over 300,000 credit and special interest students annually across more then 9,000 academic and occupational courses. Under the terms of the agreement, Jobing.com has developed co-branded Maricopa "Career Network" web sites, including an integrated job board powered by Jobing.com technology, for the District's home office and its 10 colleges. The respective sites were officially launched earlier today and each can be accessed directly at www.maricopa.edu/careers.

The comprehensive online career resource enables full, part-time, and graduating students and alumni to post resumes and to search for their next Arizona job across over 40 comprehensive job categories. Current Jobing.com users can log into the network using the same email address and password they use on the Jobing.com site. Employers have the ability to post jobs on the Career Network free of charge and each posting will be linked to the Career Network sites across the entire district. For a low rate, employers can extend the reach of their postings throughout the Jobing.com network, which includes professional associations and local community web sites throughout Arizona. Postings remain active for a full four weeks. Each site also includes valuable career resources including local and campus career news sections, and a career event / job fair calendar.
