We seek an IT Documentation Specialist to enhance our documentation for our technology platform. The successful candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a similar role within an IT or/and PMO Organization. Our environment is a combination of in-house developed software and databases, third-party hosted solutions, and Software-as-a-Service solutions. We are developing the next-stage of architecture for the platform and require a talented individual to provide the baseline documentation and to keep it current as we evolve the architecture. There are multiple ongoing reports, documents, and schedules that require accurate and timeline updating. Additionally, compliance and presentation documentation is consistently created and maintained.
Skills / Requirements
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain standard templates for consistent use within team and by other department members. Work with infrastructure or system design, installation, and support personnel to create clear, standard, and consistent technical diagrams and systems documentation. Help maintain department websites to produce pages that convey department services in standard, readable format while using creativity and adhering to change controls. Gather requirements on information needs within department and between areas to provide communication solutions. Update and Maintain Compliance policies and procedures. Create process maps (business work flow) in Microsoft Visio Professional quality reports and presentations for Executive team Create and maintain network system diagrams Develop and update project pipelines and timelines Requirements: Minimum Qualifications: Documentation Specialist/Technical Writer - Expert with 5 year(s) experience. Expertise with MS Visio; MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; and Adobe Acrobat Professional Developer-Web Content with 3 year(s) experience. Expertise with MS Sharepoint; proficiency with Adobe PhotoShop Creativity in envisioning and articulating solutions Excellent communication skills Understanding of project management a plus Must have experience working in the IT and corporate environment Understanding of process flow, process improvement, workflow is a plus Ability to excel in fast paced, dynamic, multitasked team and environment Bachelor's Degree preferred We Value Diversity!
