Job: Industrial Machinery Mechanic for Food Processing Plant

Food Processing Plant in the East Valley is looking for an experienced maintenance mechanic with solid work history. Must have own basic tools.

Description of the job: repairs, installs and performs preventive maintenance on all production equipment accessories as needed to ensure that such equipment is in good operable condition at all times. Troubleshoots and repairs food processing and industrial machinery. Assists in installing and repairing electrical conduits, cables, piping, and tubing. Cleans and paints all repaired equipment as needed.

*Read and understand electrical and mechanical blueprints
*Knowledge of local, state, and federal codes
*Must have own basic tools
*Some knowledge of lubricants for all types of machines

*Familiar with:
A/C and D/C electrical equipment
Arc welding equipment
Gas cutting equipment
Power tools
Electrical test equipment (voltmeter, ohmmeter, mehger, and ampmeter)
