Job: CRISIS SPECIALISTS - PART TIME / POOL OPPORTUNITIES

EMPACT-SPC is an industry leading non-profit organization based in Tempe, Glendale, and Maricopa dedicated to providing culturally sensitive community resources for crisis management, counseling, and suicide prevention since 1989. This is a great opportunity for CRISIS SPECIALISTS (part time) to join our mobile crisis teams in our Tempe Office.

These positions are PART TIME (POOL) opportunities with available shifts of nights and weekends primarily, but other hours may be available. We are in need of dedicated professionals to staff these positions, willing to commit to a minimum of 20 hours per month (required).

We offer an excellent TEAM environment with great support! Although the part time positions are not eligible for benefit packages, we do offer a competetive salary and offer language differentials for Spanish speaking ability.

Skills/ Minimum Requirements

1. Bachelor's Degree in counseling, pyschology, social work, or directly related field or equivalent (directly related experience could substitute for education at the rate of two (2) years of experience equaling one (1) year of education.

2. Bilingual in Spanish a plus!

3. Detail oriented, & ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

4. Professionalism and ability to maintain confidentiality a must!!

5. Demonstrated ability to remain calm in crisis situations.

6. Possess valid fingerprint card (level 1) or ability to qualify to obtain one

7. Have an AZ Driver's license with no major infractions for the past three years
