Job: Outreach and Mobilization Coordinator

Position Summary: Expect More Arizona is a statewide public-private partnership dedicated to increasing public awareness about the importance of strengthening education in Arizona. Expect More Arizona is partnering with Arizona GEAR Up on the production of a postsecondary planning guide for students throughout the state. Position is responsible for increasing brand awareness and community engagement for Expect More Arizona through the development and implementation of statewide outreach and mobilization strategies including the creation and management of a Speakers Bureau. Position is also responsible for managing the distribution of the postsecondary planning guide by developing relationships with school administrators and counselors as well as managing the evaluation of the guide. Position requires statewide travel and keen ability to cultivate relationships and community partnerships.

Responsibilities:

* Develop and manage distribution plan for the Arizona Students Postsecondary Planning Guide, developed in partnership with GEAR UP Arizona.
* Develop and implement a statewide outreach and speaker/volunteer mobilization plan.
* Create and manage a statewide Speakers Bureau including recruitment and training of talented speakers.
* Develop targeted presentation materials which educate, inform and engage prioritized target audiences in improving education in Arizona.
* Manage the scheduling and tracking of Expect More Arizona presentations in Maricopa County, Tucson, Flagstaff, Yuma and other communities as identified.
* Cultivate strategic partnerships with education and leadership groups including Arizona school districts, community colleges and universities.
* Develop speaker, volunteer and presentation tracking database which fulfills campaign success metric requirements.
* Manage assigned budget lines to ensure all projects are completed within given parameters.
* Assist with development and production of targeted Expect More Arizona collateral and presentation materials.
* Other duties as assigned.

Other Requirements:

* Bachelors Degree in social work, public affairs, Humanics, communications, marketing or related field.
* Minimum 4 – 6 years professional experience in nonprofit, community building or other relevant experience.
* Valid Arizona drivers license, proof of auto insurance coverage, daily access to personal vehicle
* Ability to travel around the state
* Availability outside of typical 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. workday as necessary
* Spanish language proficiency preferred, but not required
