Lovitt & Touch is a commercial independent insurance agency, specializing in creating a partnership with our clients to create an insurance package, either property and casualty or employee benefits, that meets their needs within their financial objectives.
The Account Manager, Commercial Insurance Lines, will be an integral part of the day to day servicing of an assigned group of insurance clients. In this role, the Account Manager will work with multiple Producers and Account Executives. The Account Manager will investigate and evaluate coverages, rates and general trends within the industry. In addition, the Account Manager will monitor the accuracy of all insurance policies received from carriers prior to delivery to clients, will enter all activities into the insurance database program as an accurate record of transactions, will invoice clients and be responsible for accurate billing practices. This requires exceptional knowledge of the insurance industry, including coverages, carriers and markets. The Account Manager also works on new business and prospective clients, including gathering data for proposals, compiling and researching information and in some cases, visiting clients to provide information. On a regular basis, the Account Manager will maintain regular contact with clients and be responsible for client satisfaction, becoming the point of contact for the client for day to day matters.

Skills / Requirements
The position requires a High School diploma or equivalent, and college courses or a Bachelors Degree is strongly preferred, but not required. The Account Manager must have an Arizona Property and Casualty License. Exceptional Customer Service and time management skills are a requirement, as demonstrated by past performance and references. This position also requires exceptional attention to detail with respect to timely service delivery to clients, and a professional approach to clients at all times. We will require a minimum of 5 - 7 years in the Commercial Insurance industry as an Account Manager or Account Executive. The successful candidate must have excellent interpersonal skills to deal extensively with clients, carriers, vendors, etc. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are a requirement, as constant contact with clients is vital to the success of the job. Experience with the Applied system is a real plus, and extensive experience in Word, Excel and Outlook is required.
