Job: Development Coordinator

Our dynamic youth center seeks a fun, energetic, hard working individual to join our great team. We are a growing facility that takes pride in our services we offer to the community.

Major Duties:
- Screens and interviews volunteers
- Orientates volunteers to thier specific areas of volunteerism
- Organizes and maintains volunteer schedules
- Enters volunteers into hours tracking program
- Tracks all volunteer hours
- Researches and creates plans for monthly volunteer training topics
- Provides ongoing training to volunteers
- Oversees activities of volunteers
- Implements ongoing volunteer recognition strategies
- Implements volunteer programs that promote the mission of the organization
- Implements volunteer recruitment, retention and recognition plans
- Organizes Volunteer Appreciation Event with oversite from Director
- Oversees all activities of community restitution workers
- Supports community relations projects as deemed necessary
- Creates and maintains all social networking strategies for the organization
- Assists in organizing internal and external events in collaboration with Director

- Minimum of Associates Degree in communications, public relations, marketing or related field, or two years experience in volunteer coordination
- Ability to accept constructive feedback from supervisors
- Excellent skills in teamwork with emphasis on multitasking in an interruption driven environment
- Knowledge of and/or experience in alcohol, tobacco, and other drug prevention programs/services
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and quality
- Strong verbal communication skills required
- Demonstrated good judgment and initiative in setting priorities
- Valid Arizona driver’s license
- Minimum 21 years of age
