Event: SJN West Valley - Module 4: Interviewing and Managing Offers

Southwest Job Network (SJN) is pleased to announce an upcoming West Valley event, “Module 4: Interviewing and Managing Offers.” You are invited to join us on Monday, Nov. 9th, 2009 for an evening workshop.

Event Details
This module will enable you to learn how to successfully prepare for and conduct interviews that showcase your value to prospective employers. Develop a pre-interview research plan that will demonstrate your knowledge of the industry, company and prospective interviewers. Understand the types of interviews used in today’s marketplace and how to stand out as a candidate. Prepare solid interview question responses that demonstrate your ability to drive results. Learn how to effectively discuss and negotiate an offer that aligns with your skills and experience.

1.Identify interview truths and myths.
2.Identify preparation needed to succeed in any interview.
3.Apply rehearsal techniques to increase confidence.
4.Manage your interview performance to maximize your offers.
5.Assess the job offer relative to employment quality.
