We are currently looking to add an addition to this great team. Alexander's Abilities is currently seeking a 1:1 program aide working with adults with developmental disabilities in our day program.

We are looking for a dependable and professional staff, who has experience working with indivduals with developmental disabilities. This staff needs to be able to work in a fast paced enviornment. Must have experience in the field, specifically working with 1:1 clients.

Program aides assist in implementation of daily activities, daily living skills, behavior management, and help clients achieve their goals and objectives. Program aides will also interact with clients on a daily basis to promote opportunities for peer and community interaction. Program aides are vital role models and positive influences for people with special needs!

Other responsibilities that program aides may be responsible for:
*Assist clients with feeding & hygiene
* Hand-over-hand assistance with activities
*Assist with behavior management
*Assist clients with loading and off-loading from vehicles

Program Aides must attend all training sessions. Maintain current Client Invention Training and CPR/First Aide certification. WE HAVE PAID TRAINING!

Skills / Requirements

***Must*** have experience working with clients with disabilities
* Ability to lift 50 lbs
* Frequent amounts of walking and standing
* 18 years of age
* High School Diploma or Equivalent
* At least 3 references
* Must pass criminal background check
